Hydrate Medical offers several options for weight loss management, and our treatment team can customize a program to fit everyone’s needs.

Weight loss options:

GLP-1 Receptor Agonist (Semaglutide)

GLP-1 medications are a class of medications used to treat type 2 diabetes and aid in weight loss. GLP-1 stands for glucagon-like peptide-1, a hormone produced in the gut that stimulates insulin secretion and helps regulate blood sugar levels. Some benefits of GLP-1 medications include improved blood sugar control, weight loss, and a reduced risk of heart disease.


Phentermine is a prescription medication used by Hydrate Medical, P.A., in its weight loss program. Indicated for patients greater than 16 years of age for the short term adjunct in a regimen of weight reduction based on exercise, diet and behavioral modification in the management of obesity for patients with the initial body mass of 30 or higher. This FDA approved appetite suppressant stimulates the satiety center in the hypothalamus, which is similar to amphetamine.

What to expect:

  • All treatment plans begin with a consultation with one of the Medical Providers at Hydrate Medical.
  • This will include a review of your medical history, current medications, weight loss/gain history, and current goals.
  • Review of risks and benefits of each weight loss option.
  • We also offer ongoing support with monthly visits to monitor your progress, and make sure you are reaching your personal goals.


GLP-1 Receptor Agonist:

  • Initial consultation and first three months are $1000. This includes the initial consultation, labs, medications, and monthly follow-up appointments to monitor your progress.
  • $350 per month after the first three months.


  • Initial consultation and first month’s prescription is $275. This includes initial consultation, labs, and the first month’s prescription.
  • Follow-up appointments and refills are $150 per month.
